Country of residence?

Why this matters

Cruise lines make some fares available only to residents of a selected country. The easiest way to find out if you are eligible for a fare is to contact the cruise line or a travel agent in your country.

It is your responsibility to determine whether you qualify for a fare. Booking a fare for which you do not qualify is entirely at your own risk.

Results Display?

(Information-dense data table)
(Feels like most other cruise sites)
(Data table + Power Tool)

Explain this

1 row per cabin

The 1 row per cabin option was the original way CruisePlum displayed results. It shows results in a data table (spreadsheet-like) with sortable column headers (click to sort). Each cruise will show a row for each available cabin type that hasn't been filtered out.

This option is particularly useful when different cabin types are sought across multiple cruise lines.

For example, you can use the "Lines & Cabins" filter to only show full suites on one line, but balconies, mini-suites and suites on another in the same search.

1 row per cruise, all cabins shown

The 1 row per cruise, all cabins shown option displays all available cabin types on a single line for each cruise when using standard search.

When using the suite or detailed search, it shows the 7 lowest-cost categories that meet your filter criteria. If there are more than 7 categories, it will say so. These hidden categories can be found on the details page.

shows that this cabin is the lowest price but not lowest cabin type on this cruise. This only appears in standard search. Suite and detailed search are automatically sorted with the lowest price option on the end.

There are two limitations as well:

  1. Filters no longer give exact number of potential matches. They now show 1-4 round dots to provide a rough estimate of the number of matches. More dots = more options.
  2. When Power Tools are active, the result counts in the Power Tools window are for the number of cabins found, not the number of cruises. Also, Power Builders (the ones at the bottom of the Power Tools window) are not compatible with this option.

1 row per cruise, cheapest cabin shown

The 1 row per cruise, cheapest cabin shown option uses a Power Tool to only show the lowest-cost option for each cruise.

Power tools can help find cruises in all kinds of ways. One of the tools finds the cheapest cabin among the desired ones on every cruise.

This option is a shortcut that uses the "Cheapest Cruise" tool for all cabin types.

If you want to limit the cheapest cabin search to certain types, like balcony or above, then you'll need to configure the Power Tool yourself.
